I always put myself into my work...
The images in these galleries are from my collection of "selfies." They're essentially just "Fun with Photoshop." Most were used in old blogs or other personal projects like Facebook covers.
For the record, I never actually posed for pictures with OJ Simpson, Jonathan Coulton, or Katharine Hepburn.
Like my writing, each image tells a story.
Though... I admit it's hard to explain what I was doing with Alanis Morissette during the Civil War.
Obviously, I love playing with Photoshop. I love to test my limits to see what I can do blending light and shadow, to see if I can insert myself believably into scenes from some of my favorite TV or film productions (or, in cases like "Magic Mike," I will take suggestions from my wife).

I'm not really what you would call a "gamer," but I do love an interactive experience. What's more interactive than a videogame? How about actually being in one? The biggest Photoshop challenge of all is reducing your own "polygon count" so the scene looks believable. Some of these were harder than others...
