NOTES REGARDING ALL AUDITIONS AND SUBMISSIONS:

LOCATION: Remote. Lines will be recorded and sent via email, Google Drive link, Dropbox, etc.

CONTRACT: Non-union, unpaid.

EXPERIENCE: No experience necessary, but the first hurdle will be quality recording equipment. Auditions with poor audio will be immediately rejected.

TO AUDITION:
1 ) Select an Available Role from the list below. Be sure to read through everything needed for that role.
2) Record the “Test Lines” given for that role (MP3 is fine, no more than 3 takes each, and you are welcome to ad-lib the final take).
3) Email lines, along with any questions regarding the role or production, to riggstories@gmail. Use the CHARACTER NAME as your subject line. You may include biographical information, and experience (if any), but that’s not required. Address email to the attention of Michael J. Rigg, Producer.
4) If you are a minor auditioning for a role, please include contact information for a parent or guardian. Since RiggStories productions are of a “mature” nature, parental/guardian permission will be required for voice actors under the age of 18.
5) You will be contacted within 7-14 days of receipt of the test lines and given further instructions, thanked for your time (with notes), or given a script for a callback read. You may send a second email of inquiry (without attachments) to verify receipt of your submission (or use the form on the CONTACT ME page).
NOTE: RECORD LINES USING THE EQUIPMENT AND LOCATION YOU WOULD USE WHEN RECORDING FOR THE PRODUCTION.

CHARACTER BIO:
This will be a computer/A.I. voice similar to the series’ IRIS, ARIS, or CHRIS, but will not be identified. These will be a one-shot recording session for the show’s credits and will not change, but they will be used in every episode with voice credit.

Vocal Gender: OPEN
Vocal Age: OPEN (18+)
Vocal Accent(s): American English (Regionless - No “New York,” “Southern,” or “Minnesotan” type accents)
Vocal Cadence: Somewhat robotic, A.I., A.I.-Commercial. Think “Alexa,” “Siri,” etc.
Vocal Processing: This voice will be altered slightly to accentuate the artificial electronic nature of its origin. It will NOT be pitched.
